Small Business, Big Passion
Evan's small business roots run deep, especially in the service industry. After many years working nearly every job in the restaurant business, Evan opened his first cash-flowing business, JoyShtick Food Truck. After earning several awards and opening a second concept, Shtickwiches, Evan exited the food truck industry to focus on tax accounting.He also started one of Jacksonville's most successful restaurant blogs in 2020 with his beautiful wife, Hannah, and now they are known throughout Jacksonville as Snaxsonville. They have made appearances on Bar Rescue and have worked with prominent local businesses like Farah and Farah, and organizations like The Players Championship and Furyk and Friends. The Werthmans have a passion for local businesses and have formed lasting partnerships with businesses all across Jacksonville.
Evan started JoyShtick Food Truck, a video game-themed food truck, in 2016 and served the hungry streets of Jacksonville for several years.

Evan is fueled by a love for God, and a desire to serve his family. He enjoys watching football, playing soccer, video games, and most of all - spending time with his family. One of their favorite things to do is try new restaurants around Jacksonville and create content for their blog.
While Evan has rigorously acquired high level technical accounting skills from a variety of work experience, he has never really subscribed to the norms of the accounting industry and considers himself a disruptor. Things like emphasis on leadership and communication, empathy and attentive customer service, and flexibility and work-life-balance all make Evan a non-conformist within the scope of public accounting.
